Introduction

Neterium srl (“NETERIUM”), with registered office at 6 Chemin du Cyclotron, 1348 Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium, is committed to protecting the privacy and Personal Data of individuals whose data it processes.

For the purposes of this Data Privacy Statement, the terms “Controller”, “Processor”, “Personal Data” and “Processing” shall have the meanings assigned to them under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) (“EU Data Protection Law”).

This Data Privacy Statement describes how NETERIUM processes Personal Data in its capacity as data controller in relation to the processing activities covered by this statement. It applies to Personal Data collected through our website, as well as Personal Data collected in the course of interactions you may have with us, including when you contact us by phone, video call or email, or when you use our Neterium portal or services. NETERIUM processes such Personal Data in full compliance with the GDPR and applicable data protection laws.

This Data Privacy Statement does not apply to Personal Data processing carried out by NETERIUM in the context of providing its Jetflow and Jetscan production services to its clients or partners. In those cases, where NETERIUM acts as data Processor, the applicable Personal Data processing activities are governed by separate data processing agreements entered into with each relevant client or partner.

This Data Privacy Statement was last updated on 29 May 2026. NETERIUM reserves the right to update this Data Privacy Statement from time to time.

Purposes of Processing

NETERIUM processes Personal Data collected through its website or through interactions you have with us for the following purposes:

  • To operate, maintain and improve our website;
  • To provide and manage NETERIUM’s services, including access to and use of our Neterium portal;
  • To analyse usage data relating to end users, for the purposes of product development, service optimisation, and improvement of user and customer experience;
  • To send commercial and operational communications, including newsletters, product or software release updates, and other service-related communications; and
  • To manage and maintain relationships with customers, partners, prospects, and suppliers.

Categories of Personal Data Processed

For the above-mentioned purposes, NETERIUM may process Personal Data relating to you, depending on the communication channel you use, and type of activity involved, where such processing is necessary and in accordance with applicable law.

This Personal Data may include identification and contact information (such as first and last name, company name, job title, and contact details including mobile number, landline, email address, or postal address), as well as technical and usage data, including IP address, login credentials, and the history of your interactions with NETERIUM (such as connection logs or meeting history). NETERIUM may also process the content of communications exchanged with you, including emails, messages, and information submitted through web forms or via our services.

Ways of collecting your data

You directly provide NETERIUM with most of the data we collect. In particular, we collect data and process data when you:

  • Register to our Neterium portal;
  • Place an order for or register to any of our products or services;
  • Sign up to receive operational notifications or newsletters;
  • Communicate with us via e-mail, video conference or phone or through our website’s contact forms;
  • Provide feedback on any of our products or services or complete a customer survey;
  • View our website via your browser’s cookies;
  • Attend the events we organise (e.g., Sanctions Summits, webinars).

Operation and improvement of our website

NETERIUM has a legitimate interest to process your Personal Data for the operation and improvement of its website as detailed below:

  • IP addresses. For our internal purposes, we may use IP addresses (the Internet address of your computer) stored in web logs to generate aggregate statistics on the usage of our website, such as navigation path, volumes or time spent on a page.
  • Cookies. Our website uses cookies. The information stored in cookies may include your name, first name, navigation behaviour, login ID, and IP addresses. Your Personal Data will be retained only for as long as necessary for these purposes, and, in principle, no longer than three (3) years after your last interaction with NETERIUM, unless a longer retention period is required by law or justified by security or legal obligations.

Operation, improvement and safeguard of our Neterium portal and infrastructures

When you submit your Personal Data through our Neterium portal or with regard to your company accessing our production environment, NETERIUM has a legitimate interest to process your Personal Data (for example, your personal identification data) to get in contact with you in order to obtain additional information or take specific actions related to possible vulnerabilities or malicious activity.

Your Personal Data will be retained only for as long as necessary for these purposes, and, in principle, no longer than three (3) years after your last interaction with NETERIUM, unless a longer retention period is required by law or justified by security or legal obligations.

Analysis of end users’ usage data for product development and customer experience improvement

NETERIUM has a legitimate interest to analyse and produce reports about the usage of its products and services for the following purposes:

  • Create internal reporting about the individual or aggregated usage of the products, services, and use it to improve the quality of our products or services;
  • Resolve product/service support cases that you may have;
  • Provide specific training or awareness communication to our customers and partners;
  • Produce aggregated statistics about the usage of our products, services or website.

Marketing and operational communications and management of our relationships with our customers, partners, prospects and suppliers

NETERIUM has a legitimate interest to process Personal Data that you submit on our website or during your interactions with us (for example, subscription to our Neterium portal, purchase or use of our products), to provide you with commercial or operational communications related to NETERIUM products and services. In this respect, if you or your company are a NETERIUM customer or partner, we might send you communications related to the NETERIUM products or services that you use or purchased.

From time to time, NETERIUM may also invite you to take part in market research activities or surveys to collect feedback on existing products and services or on potential future developments. The processing of Personal Data for these purposes is carried out in the legitimate interests of NETERIUM and its customers, namely to improve the quality and relevance of its offerings, while taking your communication preferences into account. You may opt out of receiving such surveys or market research requests at any time.

NETERIUM may additionally wish to provide you with information about our products and services that may be of interest to you. Where you have consented to receive marketing communications, you may withdraw your consent at any time. You also have the right to object at any time to being contacted by NETERIUM for marketing purposes. If you have agreed to receive marketing communications, you may always opt out at a later date. You have the right at any time to stop NETERIUM from contacting you for marketing purposes.

Data Security

NETERIUM is committed to protecting your Personal Data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or unauthorised access. We apply strict technical and organisational controls to ensure that the Personal Data we process is adequately safeguarded.

To preserve the security, integrity, and availability of our infrastructure and data, NETERIUM monitors and records data exchanges, including IP addresses, timestamps, and traffic volumes, for both incoming and outgoing communications. Where suspicious or potentially malicious activity is detected, NETERIUM may collect additional data, including Personal Data, from various sources (such as public sources or threat intelligence providers) in order to initiate and manage an internal investigation. Such data is retained for up to one year and may be kept for a longer period where a security incident has occurred and retaining evidence is necessary for NETERIUM to establish, exercise, or defend its rights and remedies. Any Personal Data collected during this process may be shared by NETERIUM with the relevant authorities.

While NETERIUM implements appropriate security measures within its systems, we cannot guarantee the security of Personal Data stored on your own devices or transmitted over the Internet. You are therefore encouraged to take all reasonable steps to protect Personal Data on your computer and during online communications.

Data submitted on behalf of someone else

Where you provide NETERIUM with Personal Data relating to another individual for the purposes described above, you are responsible for ensuring that (i) the individual concerned has been duly informed about NETERIUM's right to process such Personal Data, and has been provided with this Data Privacy Statement, (ii) such Personal Data has been lawfully collected in accordance with applicable legislation and without infringing the rights of the individual concerned or any third party and (iii) you have obtained the individual’s prior consent where needed.

Sharing data

As a general rule, your Personal Data will be accessed only by authorised individuals who have a legitimate business need to process such data.

Where necessary for the NETERIUM purposes, we may share your Personal Data with carefully selected suppliers (for example, Customer Relationship Management). Prior to any data sharing, we require these suppliers to only process Personal Data solely in accordance with our instructions and to provide appropriate guarantees regarding the implementation of adequate technical and organisational security measures. Such suppliers may be located within or outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and we ensure the lawfulness of and appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

We may also share your Personal Data with any competent law enforcement body, regulatory, government agency or other third party, where such disclosure is necessary (i) as a matter of applicable law or regulation, or (ii) to exercise, establish or defend our legal rights.

Privacy policies of other websites

The NETERIUM website or services may contain links to external websites. This Data Privacy Statement applies only to NETERIUM’s website and services. Where you access third-party websites via links on our website, you are encouraged to review their respective privacy policies, as NETERIUM has no control over and assumes no responsibility for their data processing practices.

Your rights as Data Subject

As a data subject, you are granted rights regarding the processing of your Personal Data. This Data Privacy Statement explains your right of access by outlining the Personal Data we process, the reasons for processing it, and how it is processed. You also have the right to request access to your Personal Data, have it corrected, obtain a copy, or request its deletion. Additionally, you may restrict or object to the processing of your data. Please note that these rights may not apply in all situations.

NETERIUM will respond to your request within one (1) month, in accordance with applicable legal requirements. To ensure the security of your Personal Data, we may request verification of your identity before processing your request. We also keep a record of requests received and the actions taken in response.

If you believe your Personal Data has been processed unlawfully or that your rights have not been respected, you have the right to file a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.
